In compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”) and other applicable federal and state laws, Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences does not discriminate on the basis of sex in employment or in any of its education or athletic programs and activities, whether on or off campus. The essence of Title IX is that the School may not exclude, separate, deny benefits to, or otherwise treat any person differently on the basis of sex except as expressly authorized under Title IX or the U.S. Department of Education’s implementing regulations.
Filing a Complaint
To report or file a complaint, contact the Title IX Coordinator using the information above. Complaints are filed and resolved under the School’s Civil Rights and Harassment Grievance Procedure, which also sets out the Title IX–specific process for formal complaints of sex-based harassment, including definitions, timelines, and the appeal to the Head of School.
